The smaller size includes a 16-inch display, a standard laptop keyboard without a numpad, and no ethernet port. However, it maintains the same powerful internals as the larger model, such as the Intel Core Ultra 9 HX processor and Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU, supported by a robust cooling system.

Four models are available at a discount for Memorial Day. The $2,850 model features RTX 5070 Ti mobile graphics, while the $2,999.99 and $3,150 models come with an RTX 5080. The top-tier $3,650 model is equipped with an RTX 5090.

The Area-51 laptop is powered by the formidable Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which reaches a max turbo frequency of 5.4GHz and boasts 24 cores and 40MB of L2 cache. According to Passmark, this processor is among the fastest mobile CPUs available, competing directly with the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D.

Notebookcheck reports that the RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU is a significant upgrade, performing similarly to the RTX 4080. In contrast, the RTX 5070 offers performance comparable to the RTX 4070, suitable for running games smoothly at the native 1920x1200 resolution.
