The Roland-Garros eSeries is set to make a thrilling return in 2025, inviting tennis enthusiasts from across the globe to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year’s event introduces an exciting team-based format, legendary tennis captains, and a €5,000 prize pool that promises to elevate the competition to new heights.
Renault and Mastercard continue their sponsorship, enhancing the experience with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and the special Renault 5 Roland-Garros string for character customization.
The Roland-Garros eSeries will launch in March, with open qualifiers serving as the initial battleground for players to secure their spots in the finals. The qualifying stages are scheduled for March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, determining the elite contenders who will move forward.
The top female players from the first two qualifiers will join the overall winners in the finals. The competition reaches its climax at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, where finalists will compete in front of a live audience. The entire event will also be available to watch live on Twitch.
This year marks a significant shift with the introduction of a team-based format. Instead of individual play, finalists will be organized into teams, each led by a prominent figure from French tennis. Gilles Simon, a former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has been confirmed as one of the team captains. Simon, who has served as a commentator for the eSeries since 2023 and played in the Top 8 in 2024, will lead one of the squads. The identity of the rival captain, teased as a Grand Slam winner, remains a mystery for now.
Once the teams are formed, the competition intensifies. The winning team from the first phase will advance to the double-elimination bracket from the winner’s side, while the losing team will start in the loser’s bracket.
Reigning champion Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco returns to defend his title, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's staggering participation of 548,000 players from 215 territories, this year’s event is expected to be even more competitive.
Tennis Clash is also celebrating Women’s Day by offering a trip to Paris for the top female and overall players. Download the game from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025, as there’s much to look forward to.
