According to the details shared on IO Interactive’s website, this game promises to deliver an entirely new story within the iconic Bond universe.

In this thrilling new adventure, players will have the chance to step into the shoes of the world's favorite Secret Agent and embark on the very first James Bond origin story. The aim? To earn your 00 status. IO Interactive describes this as an opportunity for players to experience the beginnings of Bond's legendary career.

Hakan Abrak, the head of IO Interactive, shared insights with IGN back in October about crafting this fresh narrative. "What's exciting about that project is that we actually got to do an original story. So it's not a gamification of a movie," he explained. Abrak emphasized that Project 007 is designed as a complete origin story, with the potential to evolve into a grand trilogy in the future. He also highlighted the creation of a new Bond character, built from the ground up specifically for gamers. "It's a Bond we built from the ground up for gamers. It's extremely exciting with all the tradition and all the history there is there together to work on this together with the family of creating a young Bond for gamers; a Bond that the gamers can call their own and grow with," Abrak added.
