The Pokémon Company has officially responded to the challenges fans face in acquiring recent Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) sets. In a recent statement, the company announced plans for reprints and emphasized their commitment to improving product availability for fans.

The launch of the latest Pokémon TCG set, Destined Rivals, was marred by shortages, pre-order issues, and the interference of scalpers. This set, along with others like Prismatic Evolutions and the Blooming Waters box, has been in high demand, making them difficult to obtain.

In their statement on the Pokémon website, The Pokémon Company acknowledged the difficulties some fans are facing in purchasing certain Pokémon TCG products due to high demand. "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity," the statement read. "Reprinted products are expected to be available at participating retailers as soon as possible."

The company also committed to "maximizing production" for upcoming TCG expansions to enhance product availability at launch. They plan to continue reprinting affected products to restock, including for the Pokémon Center.

Addressing the issue of scalpers, The Pokémon Company indirectly mentioned their efforts to mitigate this problem. For Pokémon Center releases, they are "committed to providing a smooth purchasing experience and employ technology that helps get products into the hands of fans first and foremost." The Pokémon Center currently uses a virtual queue system during periods of high site traffic to manage demand.

"We will continue to explore measures that help create the best possible experience for Pokémon Center customers," the company stated. "We’d like to thank the community for their continued support and patience as we work to deliver more Pokémon TCG products to fans."

With these assurances from The Pokémon Company, fans can look forward to a more streamlined and less stressful experience when collecting and playing the Pokémon TCG as new sets are released.
