Path of Exile 2 loot filters significantly enhance gameplay, especially during high-item density situations. They declutter the screen while highlighting valuable items, streamlining the looting process. While using a controller or playing on console might seem to complicate things, PlayStation and Xbox players can utilize item filters just like PC users. However, the setup process requires a few steps.
To use loot filters on PoE 2's console versions, you must first link your console account to your Path of Exile account through the Path of Exile 1 website. Here's how:
You'll then be redirected to log into your PlayStation or Xbox account. Complete the connection process to link your accounts.
After linking your accounts, return to your Path of Exile profile page. Click the "Item Filters" button, then select the "Item Filter Ladder" link. This opens a page with available filters.
Choose "PoE 2" from the filter dropdown menu. Select a filter; NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters are recommended for new players. Click "Follow" to activate the chosen filter.
Finally, in-game, navigate to the Options menu, then the Game tab. Select your newly followed filter from the "Item Filter" dropdown. Save your changes. Your chosen filter will now modify item appearances (labels, colors, sound) within the game.
