FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. have officially announced Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, the latest entry in the beloved action-adventure series. Set 200 years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, this new installment introduces a bold shift in gameplay while staying true to the franchise’s adventurous spirit. Slated for release in Q2 2025, the game will be available on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam.
For the first time in the series, the adventure moves underground. Gone are the open seas and vast landscapes—this is a dungeon crawler at heart, infused with retro charm and a deep narrative.
The world of Gaia has fallen into ruin. The once-mighty Kingdom of Arcadia now lies in fragments, scattered across the sky as broken islands. The legendary White City, a beacon of history and hope, has faded into myth.
But not all is lost. Four courageous adventurers have set their sights on the enigmatic Chronos Dungeon—an ancient underground complex shrouded in mystery. Rumored to hold the Paradigm Hourglass, a powerful artifact capable of rewriting history itself, the dungeon becomes their only hope of restoring the world.
Players will take on the role of these brave explorers, delving deep into treacherous labyrinths filled with secrets, puzzles, and dangers. If they can survive, they may just turn back the clock on destruction and bring Gaia back to its former glory.

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon embraces the classic dungeon crawler format with a strong 16-bit aesthetic and arcade-style mechanics. Designed for local couch co-op, the game supports up to four players, making it perfect for friends and family to team up and explore together.
Solo players aren’t left out either—you can control all four characters yourself or switch between them on the fly. Each playthrough offers variety thanks to procedurally generated stats influenced by zodiac signs, ensuring no two adventures are ever the same.

Visually, the game pays homage to the golden era of gaming with pixel art and chiptune music that evoke nostalgia without sacrificing modern polish.
