Nintendo has confirmed that Switch 2 pre-orders will launch in the U.S. on April 24, 2025, maintaining the original $449.99 price point and June 5 release date.
The announcement on Nintendo's official website noted that Switch 2 accessory prices will see adjustments from their April 2 announcements due to shifting market conditions. The company also stated that "future price modifications for any Nintendo product remain possible based on market developments."
Alongside the unchanged console pricing, Nintendo confirmed the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will retain its $499.99 value. Launch pricing for both physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will also remain unaffected.
