MythWalker Launches Wyldevae Tethering

NantGames has rolled out a major update for their hit RPG MythWalker, introducing an innovative Tethering feature. As the first geolocation RPG to offer this, you no longer need to journey through Mytherra alone.

What Does the Tethering Feature Bring to MythWalker?

Tethering is a cooperative system that lets teams tackle story quests, battle foes, and collect resources together in MythWalker. It enables up to three players to unite and adventure as a group, regardless of their real-world locations.

All members of the party can view and engage with the London-based map in real time. This synchronized gameplay represents a significant advancement for the genre, freeing players from being restricted to nearby real-world points of interest and creating richer gameplay opportunities.

Alongside cooperative play, a new adversary has emerged—the Wyldevae. These enchanting, fairy-like beings may appear delicate and elegant, but they are deceptive and surprisingly powerful.

Three varieties of Wyldevae now roam Mytherra: the moth-inspired Bergavae in mountainous areas, the aquatic Strandavae near islands, and the dragonfly-like Fennavae hiding in swampy regions.

Each type yields distinct items and abilities, giving players incentive to seek them all out. New story-driven quests also delve into the nature and sudden arrival of these mysterious creatures.
