In the second update of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now introduces the Spring Hunt 2025, a thrilling online paid event scheduled from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. This event spotlights the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos, offering hunters a unique and immersive experience.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

The Spring Hunt 2025 is an exciting event that requires an event ticket, available from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks a series of uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, focusing exclusively on Chameleos. Hunters will enjoy seamless transitions between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, enhancing their gameplay experience. Moreover, participants can earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear as a bonus.

During the event, two Event Exchange Hubs will be accessible. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. Hunters can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons from May 19th to May 25th. These tokens can be exchanged for valuable items such as the Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.

Chameleos is renowned for its stealth abilities and the ability to emit a peculiar fog that impairs visibility. From May 24th, 2025, hunters can participate in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace. Players ranked 100 or above will have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To maximize your chances, equip weapons and gear that exploit Chameleos's vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.

Defeating Chameleos grants you the materials needed to craft the new Mizuha Set armour, featuring the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects by half and enhances your ability to inflict poison on targets. Additionally, Chameleos materials allow you to craft an array of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
