Marvel Rivals Debuts Human Torch, The Thing & New Map Trailers

It's a massive week for hero shooters. Overwatch 2 has already kicked off its Season 15, Marvel Rivals is just two days away from the launch of the second half of Season 1, and the original, Team Fortress 2, saw its code added to the Source SDK. But let's focus on the freshest title of them all.

The developers of Marvel Rivals have dropped gameplay trailers for the Human Torch and The Thing—the final two members of the Fantastic Four—who are joining the superhero shooter this Friday, February 21.

The Human Torch (Johnny Storm) is a Duelist. He can fly freely, fire off blazing projectiles, trap enemies within a ring of fire, and summon fire tornadoes that devastate the battlefield.

The Thing (Benjamin J. Grimm) is a Defender. He can toss teammates a short distance and launch foes into the air with a devastating ground pound.

Additionally, the Marvel Rivals team unveiled the new Central Park map with a brief teaser at the end.

This major update drops this Friday.
