As of March 2025, the latest disguises Ditto can take in Pokémon GO are Bergmite, Bidoof, Goldeen, Gothita, Koffing, Numel, Oddish, Rhyhorn, Solosis, Spinarak, and Stufful—these appearances are shown in the image above.

To spot Ditto in its disguised form, simply catch the Pokémon on your in-game map. If it’s a disguised Ditto, it will revert to its original form before you confirm the catch. Look for the “Oh?” message above your Poké Ball to confirm your success. Once caught, the Pokémon will transform into Ditto, and you’ve successfully added it to your collection.

How Rare is Ditto in Pokémon GO?

Even with knowledge of its disguises, Ditto remains a rare Pokémon in Pokémon GO. However, there’s a key clue to spotting it: its Combat Power (CP). Ditto’s CP is typically lower than the Pokémon it mimics. For example, as a Trainer at Level 50, Ditto’s maximum CP is around 940, compared to Goldeen’s max CP of approximately 1302. Keeping an eye out for lower CP values can help you identify Ditto more easily.
