The latest reveal also highlights some unique elements of the set, such as Summons, which are Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for assistance in battle (check out Summon: Shiva in the gallery). Additionally, the set reintroduces double-faced cards, exemplified by Cecil's dual nature as both a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.

In total, the Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards, some of which are illustrated by beloved artists from throughout Final Fantasy's history.

Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy set will be a fully draftable, Standard-legal set that launches on June 13. It will be accompanied by four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around one of four iconic Final Fantasy games: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck will contain 100 cards, a blend of new Final Fantasy cards and existing cards with fresh Final Fantasy artwork, enhancing the gaming experience for fans of both franchises.
