Legendary Pokémon Joins Might and Mastery Event in Pokémon GO!

The upcoming season in Pokémon GO is set to pack a punch with the Might and Mastery event, launching on March 4th, 2025, and running through to June 3rd, 2025. This event is all about martial arts and power, introducing a new Pokémon and a legendary debut.

Who’s the Might and Mastery in Pokémon GO?

Kubfu, the spirited Fighting-type Pokémon, is joining the fray. Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to evolve it into either the Single Strike Style or Rapid Strike Style Urshifu. Adding to the excitement, Dynamax battles are making their way into Pokémon GO, allowing you to witness Pokémon, including Kubfu, grow to gigantic sizes during combat.

Embark on your journey with the Might and Mastery Special Research, available from March 5th at 10:00 a.m. until June 3rd at 9:59 a.m. This research will unfold in stages throughout the season, so keep an eye on your research tab to make sure you don't miss any of the exciting rewards and challenges.

The Powerful Potential event, running from March 5th to March 10th, marks the official debut of Kubfu in Pokémon GO. Note that this little warrior cannot be traded, sent to the professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

Participate in Epic Battles

From March 8th at 6:00 a.m. to March 9th at 9:00 p.m., dive into Max Battles where Power Spots will refresh more frequently. One-Star Max Battles will showcase Dynamax Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble, while Six-Star Max Battles will feature the formidable Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. For those looking for a challenge, One-Star Raids will feature Gothita, Solosis, and Sinistea, and Three-Star Raids will include Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Sableye.

If you're a Pokémon GO player, the Might and Mastery season is a must-experience. If you haven't yet joined the millions of trainers worldwide, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and jump into the action.
