Accompanying him are Hisui, his servant with a mysterious emotional suppression; Shirin, his childhood friend driven by a strong sense of justice; and Shapur, a former general who now serves as a butler.

While the announcement has stirred excitement, some fans express mixed feelings. The Suikoden community has been eagerly awaiting a direct continuation of the series, and the introduction of STAR LEAP as a gacha game has left some uncertain about its reception.
