Activists have set their sights on Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 after uncovering a series of subpoenas within the game. There were efforts to halt the project entirely. Recently, the sequel found itself under scrutiny from "agenda-driven" activists such as Grummz. Reports surfaced regarding the ban of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 in Saudi Arabia, prompting speculation about controversial content and progressive themes included in the game. This led to widespread criticism of the developers on social media platforms, with calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage support for the studio.

In response to the rumors, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the PR manager of Warhorse Studios, encouraged trust in the developers and advised skepticism toward unverified information found online.

Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global public relations manager, announced that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days," following the game reaching its gold status in early December. Anticipated to arrive four weeks prior to release, these codes will allow streamers and reviewers to form initial impressions and publish early reviews.

Interestingly, a week later, the first "final previews" based on portions of the review version of the game are expected to become available.
