Let the demon hunting begin! Netflix has unveiled a tantalizing trailer for their new anime adaptation of the beloved video game series, Devil May Cry, and it's stirring up excitement among fans. But the buzz isn't just about the thrilling visuals; it's also about the posthumous performance of the legendary voice actor, Kevin Conroy, who will be lending his voice to the character VP Baines in this highly anticipated series.

PlayKevin Conroy, celebrated for his iconic portrayal of Bruce Wayne and Batman across numerous animated projects, passed away in November 2022 at the age of 66. His final voice performance in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3, released in July 2024, was met with high praise, and now fans are eager to hear his work once more in Devil May Cry. Joining Conroy in the cast are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch voicing the series' protagonist, Dante.

The official synopsis from Netflix sets the stage for an epic battle: "Sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck."

Adi Shankar, known for his work on films like Dredd, Killing Them Softly, and The Voices, will serve as the showrunner for Devil May Cry.
