Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, featuring titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, and Downwell, is about to get even better. The acclaimed "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.
Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this mobile version promises the same chilling experience.
What Awaits in Carrion Mobile?
Become the horror itself! You control a terrifying red amorphous creature, slithering, clawing, and devouring anything in its path. Instead of survival, you are the terror, escaping a high-security Relith Science research facility after a disastrous DNA experiment.
This monstrous protagonist wreaks havoc, consuming scientists, security guards, and anyone else unfortunate enough to cross its path. Navigate vents, smash through doors, and unleash your tentacles to sow chaos and destruction. The mobile version retains the thrilling gameplay of its PC counterpart. Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to breach barriers and grow in size. See it in action:

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will appreciate Carrion's blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style gives the game a surprisingly charming aesthetic despite its gory content.
Carrion will be available for free on mobile, with a single in-app purchase unlocking the full game and DLC. Pre-register now on the Google Play Store or wait for its launch on October 31st.
