Guide: Complete Hush, My Darling in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the side quest "Hush, My Darling" kicks off not in Kuttenberg City, but in the nearby village of Miskowitz, nestled in the Kuttenberg Region to the west. It's time to dust off your blacksmithing skills for this engaging side adventure.

How to Finish Hush, My Darling in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Speak with Martha

Head to the southeast section of Miskowitz to find Martha, who resides in the house connected to the forge. Upon entering, initiate a conversation with her and inquire if she needs any assistance. She'll express her need for someone skilled in the art of blacksmithing. Respond with, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to officially begin the "Hush, My Darling" quest.

While you're there, if you haven't yet, you might want to talk to the bailiff about Matthew, who's part of the Dry Devil's group. The bailiff is conveniently standing next to Martha, making it easy to locate her as well.

Craft Horseshoes

Screenshot by The Escapist. You may already possess the materials needed for this quest. You'll need to craft two Farmer’s Horseshoes. If you've previously crafted them to improve your blacksmithing skills, you might have them on hand. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to create them. Once crafted, return to Martha with the horseshoes.

Find Victoria

Screenshot by The Escapist. Martha directs you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, who lives a short distance south of the forge. Upon arriving at her house and opening the first door on the left, you'll discover blood instead of Victoria. Approach and inspect the blood when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha and report your findings. She suggests heading to Sigismund’s camp to search for Victoria.

Sigismund’s Camp

Screenshot by The Escapist. The camp is located south of Opatowitz. If you're also on the trail of Matthew for the Dry Devil quest, you might encounter him on the path to the camp. Once there, locate the camp's blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier named Black who took an interest in her. To find Black, head to the infirmary tent, as he's currently ill.

Screenshot by The Escapist. Black requires a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning before he'll assist you. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect before he'll share information. He'll reveal that he said some things to Victoria, suggesting she might have fled into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her sitting on a stump.

Victoria is understandably upset. Engage in conversation with her about the situation. Your dialogue choices here won't impact future events, but if you secured a promise from Black to look after her, you can share this with Victoria, offering her some hope for the future.

This conversation marks the completion of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can proceed with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
