GTA Online Releases Major June 2024 Update

Rockstar Games has unleashed the highly anticipated Bottom Dollar Bounties update for Grand Theft Auto Online, available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This substantial summer update, released alongside GTA 5 patch 1.69, delivers a wealth of fresh content for GTA Online's enduring player base.

Despite its age, GTA Online continues its reign as a multiplayer powerhouse. The game typically receives two major content drops annually, one in summer and one in winter. Interestingly, player engagement remains robust even with the confirmed 2025 launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. Rockstar's commitment to GTA Online is evident through the Bottom Dollar Bounties update and hints at potential future DLC before the year's end.

June's reveal introduced Maude Eccles, a familiar face from GTA 5's single-player, returning to offer bounty hunting opportunities. Her daughter, Jenette, joins the fray, and players become the lead enforcers for the Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement business, undertaking thrilling bounty hunts. Three new law enforcement vehicles are also introduced, integral to new Dispatch Work missions for LSPD officer Vincent Effenburger.

The update also features new drift upgrades for select vehicles and provides Rockstar creators with expanded tools and props. Significantly, the Rockstar Newswire highlights increased base payouts for various in-game activities, including Open Wheel Races, Taxi Work, A Superyacht Life, Lowriders Missions, Operation Paper Trail, Casino Story Missions, Gerald’s Last Play, Madrazo’s Dispatch Services, Premium Deluxe Repo Work, and Project Overthrow.
