GTA 5: Smart Outfits Unlock Guide

In Grand Theft Auto 5, after assisting with the Jay Norris assassination, players must change into a smart outfit before proceeding with Lester's next mission. This guide explains how to acquire suitable attire. The following mission requires reconnaissance at a high-end jewelry store, and inappropriate clothing might attract unwanted attention.

Finding a Smart Outfit

To change clothes, head to Michael's house (marked as a white house icon on the map). Go upstairs, enter the bedroom, and access the closet. Select the clothing change option (top-left corner of the screen). Choose the "Suits" category (second from the top). For convenience, select a "Full Suit" – Slate, Gray, or Topaz are all acceptable options. Equipping any of these will allow you to start the next mission.

Alternative: High-End Clothing Stores

Alternatively, you can purchase suits at Ponsonbys. There are three locations (see map). However, not all suits sold there meet Lester's definition of "smart," so using an existing suit from Michael's wardrobe is recommended to avoid unnecessary expenses.
