Developed by Mica and Sunborn, *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium* is the highly anticipated sequel to the popular mobile game. If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed at the start, don't worry—we've got you covered with a comprehensive progression guide for *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium*.
Your primary objective in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is to swiftly progress through the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Achieving this milestone unlocks crucial features such as PvP and Boss Fights, which offer substantial rewards. This guide will detail the steps you need to take to reach this goal, along with tips on managing your stamina effectively.
For free-to-play (F2P) players, rerolling is highly recommended to kickstart your journey in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. At launch, aim to secure Suomi from the rate-up character banner. While it's possible to obtain her without rerolling, doing so may deplete your resources significantly. The ideal scenario is to reroll until you obtain Suomi, along with Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or discounted beginner’s banner. This combination will provide you with a robust initial team setup.
Focus on advancing through the story campaign as quickly as possible. Initially, you can bypass side battles and concentrate solely on the story missions to level up your account. The key strategy is to prioritize campaign missions until you reach a point where you must increase your Commander level to proceed further, at which time you can shift your focus to other activities.
As you complete missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. It's essential to reserve your Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners and avoid using them on the standard banner. If you haven't obtained Suomi yet, channel all your resources into her banner. Otherwise, utilize standard summoning tickets on the standard banner to acquire additional SSR characters, but refrain from using Collapse Pieces.
Your character's levels are linked to your account level. Whenever your Commander level increases, visit the Fitting Room to upgrade your Dolls and their weapons. Upon reaching level 20, you'll need to farm Stock Bars to break the level limit, which can be acquired through Supply Missions in the Campaign menu. Concentrate on enhancing your core team of four Dolls, ideally featuring Suomi, Qiongjiu, and/or Tololo, complemented by other strong characters like Sharkry and Ksenia. If you have Tololo, consider replacing Ksenia to optimize your team.
At level 20, you'll unlock the ability to participate in event missions. These time-limited missions offer a chance to delve into new side stories and amass Collapse Pieces and event currency. To maximize benefits, complete all Normal missions and at least the first Hard mission. You'll have three daily attempts at Hard missions, which are your primary source of event currency. Use this currency to clear the event shop and acquire summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other valuable resources.
Like many gacha games, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium features an affinity system accessible through the Dormitory. By gifting presents to your Dolls, you can increase their affinity level and subsequently send them on Dispatch missions. These missions are crucial for obtaining idle resources and Wish Coins, which are used in a separate gacha system for resource pulls and potentially acquiring a copy of Perithya. The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and other useful items, so maintaining this activity is highly beneficial.
Once you're ready, shift your attention to Boss Fights and Combat Exercise modes. Boss Fights challenge you to defeat a boss within a set number of turns, with increasing difficulty at each level. The optimal team for this mode includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry. Combat Exercise, the game's PvP mode, allows you to set a weak defense for others to farm points while you focus on attacking easier targets to accumulate points without penalties for losing defenses.
After completing all Normal mode campaign missions, you can tackle Hard mode and side battles. While these won't contribute to your Commander experience, they will reward you with Collapse Pieces and summon tickets.
