Ghostrunner Creators Unveil New Game Image

One More Level, the creative force behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has recently teased fans with a new image, hinting at their upcoming project, Cyber Slash. Known for crafting intense action games set in cyberpunk universes, One More Level has garnered significant acclaim with Ghostrunner, where precision, agility, and strategy are key. The original Ghostrunner earned impressive scores of 81% and 79%, while its sequel maintained high praise with 80% and 76% ratings.

Today, the studio unveiled an intriguing image, believed to be connected to Cyber Slash, one of their two current projects. The other, Projekt Swift, is not expected until 2028, suggesting that the image is a sneak peek into the world of Cyber Slash.

Set in an alternate take on the Napoleonic era during the early 19th century, Cyber Slash promises an epic and dark reimagining of history. Players will step into a world where legendary heroes battle unknown forces and confront terrifying threats. The game aims to deliver challenging and action-packed gameplay, moving away from the traditional Souls-like mechanics. While parrying and targeting weak points remain crucial, the protagonist will undergo mutations, evolving throughout the game, adding a unique twist to the gameplay experience.
