Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
As the Natlan Archon Quest in Genshin Impact nears its thrilling conclusion, players are diving deeper into the lore and facing increasingly challenging combat scenarios. Each nation in the game boasts two formidable weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire stands out as a particularly daunting adversary. This colossal dual-sworded dragon embodies the ancient ruler of Natlan, with Gosoythoth's influence making it more terrifying than ever. Its mechanics echo the Corrosion effect seen with Inazuma's Riftwolves, making it a tough but conquerable foe. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to tackle and triumph over the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.
You can locate the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire at the Stone Stele Records domain, situated just south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This domain is within a shrine dedicated to those lost in the Natlan battle. Upon entering, players can claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three encounters each week.
To access this boss, you must complete the final chapter of the Archon Quest: When All Becomes A Monument. Alternatively, if you prefer to skip the story, you can challenge the boss directly through the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer’s Handbook.
Successfully defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire largely depends on utilizing characters from Natlan, such as Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. The dragon remains relatively stationary but will eventually summon three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, which are more easily defeated with characters wielding Nightsoul Blessings.
While it's possible to use other characters to destroy the summoned Pillars, doing so will take significantly longer. Characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina can break the shields more quickly, allowing you to preempt the Eroded Meteor strike. Destroying the pillars will temporarily immobilize the dragon for about 10 seconds, providing a window to inflict substantial damage.
However, if the Pillars aren't destroyed in time, prepare for the meteor attack by equipping a shield and switching to a healer. Even with a shield, the corrosion status will still cause significant damage. Healers like Furina and Kokomi are ideal, but Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett are effective alternatives.
Dodging the dragon's unpredictable attacks can be challenging, especially when it turns into smoke and moves erratically. Its sword slashes and smashes carve up the battlefield, reducing your maneuvering space. As the boss has substantial health, prolonged fights are common.
To mitigate damage, stay close to the dragon and attack from underneath, but remain cautious of its Eroded Dragon Breath attack, which inflicts Pyro and Erosion damage. Ensure you're shielded and continuously healed. If overwhelmed, retreat to the edges near its hands, as the Dragon Breath doesn't reach there. Immediate healing is crucial if you're hit by its sword slashes to counteract the Erosion effect.
A strong healer is non-negotiable for this fight.
Even without Natlan characters, you can attempt this battle in Co-Op Mode. Teaming up with players who have Nightsoul Blessing characters can significantly ease the Pillar phase. Simply click the 'Match' button upon entering the domain to join another player's world and tackle the boss together.
Fortunately, this fight lacks multiple phases, unlike other Weekly Bosses, but it still demands patience and strategic play to overcome.
