This guide has been updated to include how to get the Oni Masks from Daigo, as well as another reliable location that provides both Oni Masks for free, guaranteed every time.

All Oni Masks & How To Use Them

Void Oni Mask

The Void Oni Mask is a highly sought-after mobility item in Fortnite. It allows players to throw a Void Tear using the Shoot Button and then teleport to its location by using the Aim Button while the mask is equipped. The Epic Variant offers 15 uses with a 5-second cooldown, while the Mythic Void Oni Mask provides 50 uses, making it a formidable tool for strategic positioning.

Fire Oni Mask

The Fire Oni Mask focuses on offensive capabilities, enabling players to launch a guided flame projectile by pressing the Fire Button. This projectile inflicts 100 damage to any opponent it hits and can affect multiple enemies if they are clustered together. The Epic version of the Fire Oni Mask has 8 uses with an 8-second cooldown, whereas the Mythic variant increases this to 16 uses, offering more opportunities for devastating attacks.

How To Get Oni Masks in Fortnite

Searching Elemental Chests

The most direct method to acquire Oni Masks is by looting Elemental Chests, which guarantee an elemental item, including both Boons and Oni Masks. Both the Void and Fire Oni Masks can be found this way, though it requires a bit of luck. Named POIs on the Fortnite island are the best places to search for these chests.

Defeating Demon Warriors

Another way to obtain Oni Masks is by defeating Demon Warriors, located in designated areas marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map. While they don't always drop an Oni Mask, they can yield either a Void or Fire Oni Mask, depending on which they are wielding. Additionally, Demon Warriors may drop Typhoon Blades and Fire or Void Boons upon defeat.

Searching Chests

In addition to battling bosses and looting Elemental Chests, Oni Masks can also be found by searching regular Chests. This method offers a chance to acquire both the Fire and Void Oni Masks at Epic Rarity, though it heavily relies on luck.

Purchase From Daigon

For those seeking a guaranteed way to obtain both Oni Masks, players can purchase them from Daigo at Masked Meadows using Gold Bars. To unlock this option, players must complete all stages of Daigo's Mask Expertise Quests.

Loot From Daigon's Hidden Workshop

For players who prefer to bypass quests, there's a guaranteed method to acquire both masks. Head to Daigon's hidden workshop, located beneath the building on the north side of Masked Meadows. There, you'll find a machine with both masks affixed to it, which can be looted like any regular chest, providing both the Void and Fire Oni Masks.

Defeating Bosses (Mythic Oni Masks Only)

To acquire the Mythic Oni Masks, players must take on specific bosses. The Mythic Void Oni Mask is dropped by Night Rose at Demon's Dojo, while the Mythic Fire Oni Mask is obtained by defeating Shogun X at Shogun's Arena. These Mythic masks function similarly to their Epic counterparts but offer more uses, enhancing their strategic value.
