Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition arrives on November 10, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version scheduled for 2026. Discover what Bethesda has planned for Fallout 4's 10th anniversary and the latest updates across the franchise.

Fallout 4 commemorates its 10th anniversary this year with a special Anniversary Edition and a Nintendo Switch 2 release. During the Fallout Day 2025 broadcast on October 23, developer Bethesda confirmed that the Anniversary Edition will launch on November 10, followed by a Nintendo Switch 2 version in 2026.
The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition bundles all six official expansions: the narrative expansions Far Harbor, Automatron, and Nuka-World, along with the Contraptions, Vault-Tec, and Wasteland Workshop add-ons.

Additionally, this edition incorporates over 150 pieces of Creation Club content, now conveniently accessible through the redesigned Creations menu. Bethesda teased several new Creations, such as a mind-bending escape room scenario, an adventure set in the Mojave Desert within the Commonwealth, and many more surprises.
Current owners of the base game can buy the Anniversary Upgrade on their platform to unlock all the extra perks and creations included in the Anniversary Edition.

In addition to Fallout 4's 10th anniversary, Fallout: New Vegas marks its 15th year with a commemorative bundle, currently available for pre-order through the Bethesda Gear Store. Obsidian Entertainment, the original developer of New Vegas, detailed the bundle's contents, which are as follows:
● Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition
● Victor Statue (8” PVC)
● Doc Mitchell’s Evaluation Cards
● Vault Boy Enamel Pin
● Mojave Express Patch
● NCR Recon Patch
● Collector’s Big Box
The Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle is slated for a PC release in 2026.

Although Fallout Day 2025 focused primarily on new content for existing games, Bethesda Design Chief Todd Howard acknowledged fan expectations for entirely new titles. He reassured fans that while the wait might be disappointing, the studio is actively developing "even more" for the franchise.
Howard remarked, "Even though I am recording this — it’s not live — and I’m probably watching myself right now from my desk and I’m reading your chat and these… that thing you want and this other thing you want… Hey, we read it all. Just know we are working on even more. We are looking forward to the day when we can share that with everybody."

The community's wishlist includes remakes of earlier Fallout games, especially Fallout 3, but the most anticipated announcement remains the next mainline entry, Fallout 5.
While Fallout 5 is indeed part of the long-term vision for the series, Howard has earlier clarified that Bethesda is not expediting its release, despite the franchise's heightened profile from the successful TV adaptation.

In other news, Fallout Shelter also celebrates its 10th anniversary, with Bethesda previewing the seasonal updates rolling out in the coming months. Separately, Fallout 76 is venturing to Burning Springs next year, offering players fresh quests in the desert terrain of Ohio.
The broadcast concluded with the Fallout for Hope livestream post-show, a charity event supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with a fundraising target of over $1 million. If achieved by the day's end, Fallout 76 players will be rewarded with the exclusive "Hopeful" player title.
