Up to the latest *Dawntrail* expansion, *FFXIV* boasts hundreds of unique mounts that players can unlock and ride across Eorzea and beyond. The Falcon mount, however, is particularly rare due to its limited availability. It was first introduced during the Fly the Falcon Mount campaign, celebrating the release of the *Stormblood* expansion in the summer of 2017. Players who subscribed for at least 90 days during the campaign period were rewarded with this exclusive mount. Once the campaign concluded, the Falcon mount became unobtainable, leaving many newer players disappointed as they missed out on this coveted item.

How to Get the Falcon Mount in FFXIV

Fortunately, there's now a new way to acquire this elusive mount. The recurring Moogle Treasure Trove event offers players a chance to earn various rewards, including the Falcon mount. The current Moogle Treasure Trove Phantasmagoria event features the **Falcon Ignition Key** as one of its top-tier rewards. To participate, you must complete any of the qualifying duties within the game, including GATEs at the Gold Saucer in Ul'dah.

Additionally, you can tackle special challenges listed in the Mogpendium, such as weekly challenges and the one-time Ultimog challenge, to earn bonus rewards. Completing these tasks will earn you Tomestones of Phantasmagoria, the event's special currency. You can then exchange these Tomestones with the Itinerant Moogle NPC, located in all three main cities, for your desired rewards. The Falcon mount requires **50 x Tomestones of Phantasmagoria**.

The Moogle Treasure Trove Phantasmagoria event will run until the release of Patch 7.2, scheduled for **March 25**. This gives you a limited window to secure the Falcon mount before the next Moogle Treasure Trove event, so make sure to seize the opportunity.
