Dynabytes' AR Adventure, Fantasma, Expands Global Reach

Pocket Gamer recently discovered Dynabytes' Fantasma, a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game at Gamescom Latam. This exciting title features a recent update adding Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support, with German, Italian, and Spanish planned for release in the coming months.

The game challenges players to hunt and battle mischievous Fantasma creatures using portable electromagnetic fields as bait. Combat takes place in AR, requiring players to maneuver their phones to keep the Fantasma in view while tapping the screen to attack. Defeated Fantasma are then captured in special bottles.

Fantasma encounters are location-based, encouraging exploration. Players can also deploy sensors to expand their search radius and team up with others for a collaborative gameplay experience.
