Delta Force Pre-Orders Open for Mobile Devices

Pre-registration for Level Infinite's revival of the iconic Delta Force brand, formerly dubbed Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is now open. With a mix of missions and modes, including a tactical style of gameplay, Delta Force is Tencent's ambitious entry into the modern military shooter genre, set to launch in late January 2025.

If you're new to Delta Force, don't worry—you're not alone. This series has been a cornerstone of FPS gaming since before Call of Duty existed. Inspired by the renowned special forces branch of the US military, Delta Force offers realistic shooter action complete with an array of high-tech gadgets and authentic weaponry.

Tencent's Level Infinite has approached the revival of Delta Force with enthusiasm. The game's Warfare mode throws you into large-scale combat scenarios reminiscent of Battlefield, while Operations dives into the extraction shooter genre. Additionally, players can anticipate the launch of a single-player campaign in 2025, centered around the Battle of Mogadishu and drawing heavily on the 2001 movie Black Hawk Down.

Cheaters Never Prosper Despite the high anticipation for Delta Force, the game has faced its share of controversies. Cheating is a significant issue in modern shooters, and Tencent's aggressive approach to tackling it has stirred some debate. While G.T.I. Security, their dedicated team for dealing with cheaters, works tirelessly, the restrictions on certain programs and hardware for the PC release have drawn criticism.

Although cheating may be less of a concern on mobile platforms, the controversy has already turned some fans away from Delta Force. However, with the mobile release on the horizon and a lower likelihood of cheating on mobile, there's still hope that it will meet expectations.
