The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off at around August 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT, marking an exciting milestone for eager fans. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or September 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.
Participants had several opportunities to secure their spot in the Alpha Test. They could sign up through the Delta Force Official Website, the Delta Force Official Steam Page, or even by tuning into Delta Force Twitch Streams to receive Twitch Drops. Additionally, the official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes to celebrate special occasions and milestones.
From the pre-alpha test held from July 11 to 15, the developers identified several critical errors that impacted gameplay for the limited number of participants. Consequently, they had to postpone the planned July Alpha test to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all players.
Originally, Delta Force was set to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, with no specific end date announced. Fans could attempt to gain access through the official website by completing player surveys, via the official Steam page, or by watching content creators on Twitch.tv for Steam keys through Twitch Drops.
A pre-alpha test took place from July 11 to 15 to stress test the game before the main Alpha. During this period, a small group of players were granted early access. It's worth noting that access to the game on one platform did not guarantee access on another, as cross-progression was not available during the Alpha Test. For detailed information about the test, fans were encouraged to read the comprehensive Steam blog post.
Delta Force will not be available on Xbox Game Pass.
