On January 18, Deadlock introduced four exciting new heroes, and shortly thereafter, the developers at Valve made swift adjustments to ensure balance. Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now activates on units and benefits from a halved cooldown in these scenarios. Meanwhile, Calico's ability, Ava, has been upgraded to demolish objects in her path.
The patch also revisited some of the older heroes. Kelvin now boasts an increased health pool, rising from 600 to 650. Vendicta, on the other hand, sees a reduction in bullet speed from 810 to 740, alongside a slight decrease in movement speed from nine to eight. In total, adjustments were made to 11 heroes, including the recent additions.
Currently, Deadlock remains in closed beta, with an impressive player count fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 online users. This ongoing engagement demonstrates the community's enthusiasm for the game and its continuous evolution.
