Dead by Daylight has joined forces with the iconic Resident Evil series to introduce an exhilarating 2v8 mode, bringing a new dimension to the gameplay with beloved characters from Capcom's legendary franchise. In this special event, players can embody two of Resident Evil's most notorious villains: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, known in this collaboration as The Puppeteer. They'll confront a team of Resident Evil's celebrated heroes, including Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong, within the haunting corridors of the Raccoon City Police Station.

This collaboration is unique, marking the first time Nemesis and Wesker are paired together in this type of gameplay, offering players a truly distinctive experience. Both antagonists come equipped with their signature infection-based abilities: Nemesis with the T-Virus and Wesker harnessing Uroboros to target Survivors.

In the 2v8 mode, players can collect special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. These herbs serve various purposes; some offer healing for Survivors, while yellow herbs are used to repair hooks. Interestingly, Killers can also utilize herbs, which temporarily boost their speed, adding a strategic layer to the game.

Whether you're new to the 2v8 mode or a seasoned player, there are significant changes to keep in mind. The traditional Powers and Perks have been replaced with a new Class System, introducing a wide range of strategic options for both Killers and Survivors.
