If you've always thought Dark Souls 3 was too hard to beat on your own, now you can take it on with friends. Yesterday, modder Yui released a new mod that adds full co-op support for up to six players. This community-led project follows the same spirit as the popular co-op mod for Elden Ring, bringing cooperative play to an earlier FromSoftware classic.
Currently in alpha testing, the mod already lets players finish the entire game from beginning to end. It supports all multiplayer features, including invasions, and works completely outside of official servers—so there’s no risk of getting banned.
The optimized connection system lets co-op partners join hosts from anywhere around the world, and rejoining after a disconnect is fast and smooth. The Seamless Co-op mod removes all multiplayer restrictions from the original Dark Souls 3, allowing unlimited playthroughs from the tutorial all the way to the final boss. Enemy scaling can also be adjusted to maintain a balanced and enjoyable challenge.
