The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, serving as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that launched in 2022. The film continues the story of Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This unique bond grants him the ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to Reze, a pivotal character from the original manga. The film is helmed by director Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko. Fans will be thrilled to know that the entire voice cast from the anime series is returning to lend their talents to this cinematic adventure.
