Big news for fans of the Now You See Me franchise: the much-anticipated third installment, officially titled Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, is set to hit theaters on November 14, 2025. But that's not all—director Ruben Fleischer is already gearing up to bring us Now You See Me 4. This exciting announcement was made by Adam Fogelson, chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, at CinemaCon.

The Now You See Me series, which has already amassed over $700 million at the global box office, continues to captivate audiences with its blend of action and heist elements. Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will see the return of familiar faces like Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson, who previously collaborated with Fleischer on his debut film, Zombieland. Joining them are new talents Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt, portraying the next generation of illusionists, alongside Rosamund Pike.

Fleischer, whose recent works include the blockbuster hits Uncharted and Venom, is thrilled to be back at the helm. "Directing Now You See Me: Now You Don’t was as much fun as making any movie in my career. It combines two of my favorite things—heist movies and magic—and working with this incredible cast was truly magical. Of course, I want to keep it going," he stated.

Bobby Cohen, the mastermind behind the series, will once again produce alongside Alex Kurtzman of Secret Hideout. Meredith Wieck will oversee the project for Lionsgate. Adam Fogelson praised Fleischer's work, saying, "Ruben has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way. We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and are thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us."

Past reviews of the franchise have been mixed. IGN gave Now You See Me a 6.3/10, criticizing its "smarmy, shallow characters and a flimsy, nonsensical plot." Similarly, Now You See Me 2 received a 6.2, with IGN noting it as "all flash and no substance." Despite these critiques, the franchise's dedicated fanbase eagerly anticipates the new twists and turns Fleischer will bring to Now You See Me: Now You Don’t and the forthcoming fourth installment.
