Upgrades

While primarily free-to-play, optional upgrades enhance your experience. Customize your starting position, choosing your faction and initial territory. Engage in thrilling fantasy battles between any two cultures, deploying as many warriors as your device can handle. You can even edit individual character appearances (note: the game utilizes up to 1,000 regularly refreshed characters).

Controls

Individual character control offers two options: the classic one-handed system or dual-wield control for separate hand management. Consult the in-game "Controls" guide (accessible via the dateline pause menu) for detailed instructions. In-game hints are also available within scrolls and books.

Switching controlled units is simple: tap their health meter or directly point to them on the battlefield. Activate "Commander" mode (via bottom-screen arrows) for strategic overview and unit direction. Swipe from a unit's location to issue commands (relocation, combat, object interaction). Remember, unit actions are based on their individual priorities and convenience.

Zoom in/out using pinch-to-zoom at the screen's center, regardless of your device or control method.

Map

The main "Campaign" mode involves territorial expansion. Move units between connected areas to fortify existing territories or seize rival ones. Only 50% of a territory's units are available for movement, favoring defensive strategies.

Territory populations may increase after each round, emphasizing control over multiple areas. Units gradually regenerate health, making strategic location shifts beneficial.

Performance

This is my most ambitious game yet and might require a high-end device for optimal (100%) performance. Lowering "Population" settings reduces on-screen characters, while "Display" options offer further performance adjustments.
