Mark your calendars: Gigantamax Rillaboom will debut in six-star Max Battles from May 31 to June 1, 2025. This is its first-ever appearance in Pokémon GO.
The main event, Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global, takes place worldwide on June 28 and 29. Millions of Trainers are expected to join this free celebration accessible from anywhere. Check out the official announcement video below for a preview.
Purchasing a ticket for Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global grants access to exclusive perks, most notably an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion. This fiery Pokémon makes its global debut after previously appearing at in-person events in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.
The Ancients Recovered event runs from June 23 to June 27, 2025. This event marks the return of the Legendary Titans and their elemental relatives. Each day introduces a new five-star Raid Boss, with a dedicated Raid Hour from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time.
The Raid schedule is as follows: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel appear on June 23; Regieleki arrives on June 24; Regidrago comes on June 25; Regigigas emerges on June 26; and all Titans return for a final day on June 27.
Legendary Pokémon caught during this event will know exclusive moves. Regirock learns Earthquake, Regice knows Thunder, Registeel has Zap Cannon, and Regieleki comes with Thunder Cage. Regidrago will know both Dragon Breath and Dragon Energy, while Regigigas will feature its signature move, Crush Grip.
Furthermore, six-star Max Battles during Ancients Recovered will feature not only Rillaboom but also Gigantamax Cinderace and Inteleon. Download Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store to participate in all these events.
